Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hi My Holter Monitor report says Sinus rhythm with atrial rhythm. Max heart rate 158 average heart rate 108 rare ventricular ectopic beats. one isolated supraventricular ectopic. no pauses greater than 2.0 seconds Belinda age 33 with 4 children What does that mean.
Detailed Answer: Hello, Thank you for using HCM. The rare ectopic ventricular beats are a normal finding in most healthy people and an isolated supraventricular ectopic beat is not significant. The average and maximal heart rate are a little bit higher than normal, but it depends on your physical activity and emotional state. If you experience feelings such as breathless sensation, chest discomfort or anxiety, you should see a cardiologist in order to get a prescription of a B-blocker such as propranolol in low dosage.
Hope this is helpful. Let me know if you need more clarifications. Otherwise please close and rate the answer. Kind Regards, Dr. Juarda
